AMP for DUI

Rehabilitation Program For DUI

We know that DUI is a charge given for driving under the influence of alcohol and/or other substances. THC content from marijuana intake can impair a person’s judgement and decision-making just as much as alcohol and drugs. Our program is an educational course which through therapeutic counselling helps you recognize, learn about, and stop unhealthy behaviors. We help our clients learn coping skills and create new healthy habits for a healthy lifestyle.

Driving under influence can cause death

Substance use and alcohol abuse have a negative effect on our body as well as our ability to concentrate, focus and make the right decisions.

The mindset that “I’m okay to drive” when having a few drinks may cause more problems than the “inconvenience” of calling a taxi.  The outcome of driving under the influence can potentially cost your life, or the life of others

The Alcohol Management Program (AMP) is a therapeutic educational course and counselling program designed to help participants stop their unhealthy behaviors. It aims to help clients to take responsibility and ownership for their behaviors, as they learn new skills of coping with stressors in life, or enjoying life without the need for alcohol.

The 10-session program gives offenders the opportunity to examine their beliefs and attitudes towards substance use and/or abuse, learn coping skills, and develop new habits.
